Honduras To Belize (Step By Step)

1. If you're in Honduras, you're likely coming from San Pedro Sula. It takes a little over an hour to get to Puerto Cortés.
2. The ferry terminal in Puerto Cortés is located near a restaurant bar called El Delfin and is found behind the fish market.
3. Look for the boat and ticketing office and remember it only travels during the week and not weekends.
4. The ferry ticket should include transportation as far as Hopkins or Dangriga. Just verify in case that's your destination.
5. You can pay in USD dollars but they have to be crisp dollars.
6. Despite being told that you have to be two hours early, it will likely be unnecessary since the only task is to get your passport exit stamped which takes about 10 minutes.
7. The complete journey will take about 2.5 hours and upon getting off the boat, you will go through immigration and customs.
