I think I missed a blog post sometime last week because my routine was a little rocky but here's something interesting to fill that gap 😅
My trip at Colombia has been interesting so far. Although I haven't connected that much with my hosts, I did have a strange connection with one that hosted me at the beginning of my trip. She was super young which isn't bad, but it didn't go so smoothly this time.
Well, it all started when I was about to leave her house and move on to another city. My host stole a kiss from me and caught me by surprise since I didn't feel any spark prior to that. But I followed the flow and stayed a little longer in the city. We bonded very well for about a week or so. We definitely had some fun times, but then it started getting a little strange. Ahhh. Good old Colombia has yet to have a good connection with me. Haha.
While we bonded, she started asking me to tell her pretty words, which was when it started getting weird. I have a feeling that there was a little void caused by trauma with her parents. Well, this is just my speculation, and it intensified after she asked me to reveal to her all my future partners if we ever wanted to have something together in the future as if there was already an unspoken commitment. This scared me a bit... then again she isn't wrong.
I'll be honest and say that I probably have a little trauma after having a temporary relationship end a little badly in Mexico, so I wasn't prepared to be exclusive if that makes sense.
I think it's important to get to know someone slowly to see the light and dark sides of their past before diving deep too quickly. I hope that makes sense. I'll still be giving myself 100% with people with good energy, but I'll just be a little more precautious next time.
And well, hopefully something different comes along. No rush!
P.S. In case you're wondering what a girlfriend means to me, I would call any partner that shares a beautiful connection with me as a girlfriend. One week would be the minimum sharing time maybe.
